Your Petitioners therefore pray that the 47th section of the Metropolis Local Management
Act, 1855, may be repealed, and in lieu thereof that provision be made in
the Metropolis Local Management Act Amendment Bill to enable your Petitioners
to elect one Member to the Metropolitan Board of Works, separate and distinct
from the said Parishes of Saint Olave and Saint Thomas, Southwark, and Saint
John Horselydown.
