Artizans' Work.

The general miscellaneous repairs have been carried out by artizans in the employ of the Vestry at the Works Department, including the following smiths' work for the Highway Department:—

Pickaxes Lined and Steeled.Tools Sharpened.Paving Hammer Heads Steeled.

The work attending the maintenance of these
grounds has been carried out by the gardeners during
the year, but owing to the very dry summer the results
have not been so satisfactory as might have been
expected.
The grave of the late Mrs. Siddons has been
cleaned and painted, and the inscription re-cut. Three
glazed terra cotta vases, with shrubs, have been
obtained and placed on the stone slab by order of the
Committee of Management.
The petition for faculty for the removal of St.
Philip's Temporary Iron Church in St. Mary's Churchyard,
Northern Portion, was heard before Dr. Tristram
