To the Vestry of the Parish of Paddington.
Gentlemen,
I beg to submit to you the following Report on
the Health of the Parish of Paddington of the vital
statistics in connexion therewith and of the work of
the Sanitary Department during the year 1892.
Births and Deaths.
During the fifty-two weeks of the registration year
ending 31st December, 1892, 2,934 births and 2,294
deaths were registered in Paddington.
Births.
Of the 2,934 births, comprising 1,489 male and
1,445 female children, 2,456 occurred in St. Mary's
and 478 in St. John's Sub-district.
