REPORT, 1892-93.
REPORT
of the
Commissioners for Public Baths and Washhonses
for the
PARISH OF PADDINGTON,
For the Year ending 31 st March, 1893.
The Commissioners in submitting their Annual Statement
of Accounts to the 31st March, 1893, duly audited,
have to report:—
That the Receipts for the past year have maintained Accounts,
the average of the three preceding years, and it will be
seen by the following Statement that the Receipts have
almost become a known quantity, any increase or
decrease being entirely governed by an accession or
diminution of fine weather:—
£ s. d.
1889-90 3,859 5 6½
1890-91 3,776 8 8
1891-92 3,866 ro 4
1892-93 3,846 16 11
The Expenditure, which has been carefully watched,
has been somewhat heavy for the year. This is principally
accounted for by the payment of the balance
of account for New Boilers, and by the outlay in
Heating improvements which have been effected (and
referred ito under the head of Heating Apparatus) with a
view to a further reduction in working expenses.
AMOUNT OF FEES received for the Years ending 25th March, 1891, 1892, and 1893:—
