BOROUGH OF PADDINGTON.
Unfortunately I was confined to my house during
the winter, bat I have no hesitation in saying that all
worked with a will both early and late, and the
incessant work day and night, owing to the variable
and severe weather, was most trying; and I believe
everything was done to carry out the work in a satisfactory
and economical manner.
The following General Directions for Snow Clearing
will furnish you with information of the proceedings I
always adopt attending a fall. These directions have
been amended this year, and are issued annually, at
the beginning of October, to each of the foremen, so
that they may know how to proceed with the work
when necessary:—
PADDINGTON VESTRY.

Crescent and Street, Connaught Street and Square
(West side), Hyde Park Square (South side), and
