REPORT, 1889-90.
47
Paddington Green, St. Mary's Churchyard and
St. Mary's Old Churchyard Recreation Grounds.
As recorded in former reports the acquisition of
these heathful resorts, continue to improve in
appearance year by year. It is to be regretted that
the entrance to St. Mary's Old Churchyard from Cuthbert
Street, at the N.W. corner, had not been secured
by the Vestry in perpetuity, so that the residents of
Hall Park might have enjoyed the means of ready
access to the Grounds; now, unfortunately, it is stopped
by the stables being erected on the vacant ground and
over the passageway.
The Details and Accounts accompanying this
report will furnish additional information connected
with the several works carried out by this department.
I am, Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
GEORGE WESTON,
Surveyor,
Professional Associate Surveyors' Institute.
