XXXVI. Municipal Reference Library.
The following resolution of the Vestry is still
under consideration by the Legal Committee:—
"That, it be referred to the Legal and Parliamentary Com"mittee
to consider and report as to whether any, and, if so,
"what better arrangements can be made for preserving and
"utilizing the books and papers acquired by the Vestry from time
" to time."
XXXVII. Parochial Accounts.
The recommendations of the Special Committee
referred to in the last Annual Report are still under
the consideration of the Vestry.
XXXVIII. Preparation of the Annual Report.
This Report was prepared under the direction
of the Annual Report Committee, appointed by the
Vestry in June, 1890, consisting of Mr. Mark H.
Judge (Chairman), Major-General Lees, Mr. W. H.
Mills, Mr. C. A. Stephenson, and Dr. Gr. Danford
Thomas.
The following is the section of the Metropolis
Local Management Act of 1855 (18 & 19 Vic.,
cap. 120), under which it is published, viz.:—
198 "Every such Vestry as aforesaid and District
Board shall, in the month of June in every year,
cause to be printed the said account in abstract
