REPORT, 1888-9.
Hay Crop.—The expenses of mowing, stacking,
and carting being £38 14s. 9d. This amount,
including the cutting and making of the second cut
crop, total loads being 19, at £4 per load, equal £76;
the actual gain to the Vestry being £37 5s. 3d.

Artizan's Work.— The general miscellaneous repairs have been carried out by Artizans in the employ of the Vestry at the Works Department, including the following smiths' work for the Highway Department.

St. Marys Old Churchyard Improvement.
The faculty granted to carry out this improvement
was obtained in May, 1888, and the work commenced
in August, and was finally finished in January,
1889. A map of the Churchyard, shewing the exact
positions of the tombs and graves, also a register of
decipherable inscriptions found on the tombs, has been
taken for future reference.
