The portion of wood paving in South Wharf Road,
from the "Bank of England" public-house to the
junction with Praed Street, having been down for
seven years, and being worn out, was re-laid with
new wood blocks, at an expenditure of £570 6s. 6d.
Also Eastbourne Terrace, wood paving which had
been down for eight years was re-laid with new
blocks, at a cost of £1,435 5s. l0d.
