Water.
Paddington is supplied with water by the Grand
Junction and West Middlesex Companies, which draw
their supplies from the Thames, as do also the Chelsea,
the Lambeth, and the Southwark Companies. The remaining
Metropolitan Water Companies are the Kent
Company, whose water comes from the deep wells, and
the New River Company, and East London Company,
both of which derive their water from the River Lea.

the Colne Valley Water Company, and the Tottenham
Local Board of Health. He found that on the whole

Companies, maintained, except in March, November,
and December, the high quality exhibited for several
years past.
