MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH
For the Year 1887.
To the Vestry of the Parish of Paddington.
Gentlemen,
During the fifty-two weeks of the registration year
ending 31st December, 1887, 2,916 births, and 2,023
deaths were registered in Paddington.
Births.
Of the 2,916 births, comprising 1,488 male and
1,428 female children, 2,368 — 1,214 males and 1,154
females—were registered in St. Mary's, and 548 -274
males and 274 females—in St. John's Sub-district.
