The deaths are remarkably low during the last quarter; births
exceed by 204 the deaths during the same period, so that the
death-rate will be at 18.64 per 1000, and the birth-rate 26.8.
Measles, Scarlet fever and Whooping Cough have been fatal to
38, 13 and 17 young children, but they have scarcely amounted
to an epidemic tendency. The Small Pox epidemic has subsided.
