The Books of the Parochial Medical Officers, of the Star Street
and Kilburn Dispensaries, and Returns sent by a few private
Medical practitioners have been examined. The unusual number
of cases of scarlet fever, indicating its epidemic character, is
the only feature in the state of public health of this District
that calls for remark.
