The estimated value of the above-mentioned
Sewers, together with 3 miles, 1600 yards run of
Drain Pipes laid down, is about £ 11,038.
One mile fourteen hundred and forty-one yards
of Brick Sewers, in which the deposit varied from
six to twelve inches in depth, have been cleansed,
and the hard deposit removed, at a cost to the
Vestry of £ 103: 18: 10.
Six side entrances, twenty-five ventilating
Shafts, three flushing Shafts, and one hundred and
twelve Gulleys, have been constructed, and sixtytwo
Gulleys repaired, in various parts of the
Parish.
One hundred and forty-four Gulleys have been
cleansed, at a cost to the Vestry of £ 17: 15: 10½.
