of the intention to apply for licenses in respect of
five other premises. As regards one of these,
notice had been given to the Vestry in two former
years, but the applications had been successfully
opposed; the opposition was renewed, and the
license a third time refused. Of the other four
applications in respect of premises not previously
occupied as Slaughter Houses, two, although
favourably reported on by the Sanitary Committee
and unopposed by the Vestry, were also refused by
the licensing Magistrates.
