BOARD OF WORKS
for the
LIMEHOUSE DISTRICT.
Gentlemen,
I have the honour to submit to you my Report on the
Health and Sanitary condition of the Limehouse District for the
year 1886.
The Births registered in the District during that period
numbered 2,016, giving the proportion of 34.4 births to 1,000
inhabitants, a number considerably below the average of the last
ten years.
The Birth Rate of the Metropolis for the year was 32.3
per 1,000.
