BOARD OF WORKS
for the
LIMEHOUSE DISTRICT.
Gentlemen,
I have the honour to submit to you my Report on the
health and sanitary condition of the Limehouse District for the
year 1881.
During that period there were registered in the district 2,176
births, 1,279 deaths, and 468 marriages. From the number of
deaths must be deducted 109, which occured in the East London
Hospital for Children, and were those of persons resident outside
