The following Sewers have been cleansed by the Contractor of
the Board, viz.:—
760 feet of 12in. pipe.
45 „ 9in. „
105 „ 6in. „
Also 120 feet of 18in. Barrel Brick Sewer.
1 New Gully constructed in Limehouse.
12 Gullies altered and repaired.
4 New Gully Grates supplied.
1 New side entrance constructed in Ratcliff.
2 Flushing Boxes have been raised.
2 New side entrance flaps.
1 „ „ repaired.
1 Urinal repaired.
2 Manholes constructed.
2 „ repaired.
3 Block traps fixed.
1 New Flushing Shaft, with box, fixed.
6 Flushing Boxes fixed.
All the Gullies in the District have been periodically emptied,
and filled with water.
HOUSE DRAINAGE.
121 houses (including 77 new erections and other buildings)
have been connected with the Sewers, and the following works
executed in connexion therewith, viz.:—
732 feet of 9in. Pipe Drains laid.
3,812 „ Gin.
885 „ 4in.
108 Closet pans and traps fixed.
103 Sinks and traps fixed.
