LIMEHOUSE DISTRICT.
Gentlemen,
I have the honor to submit to you my Report on the
sanitary condition of your District during the year 1875.
In that period there were registered in the District 2,167
births, and 1,341 deaths. From this number of deaths there must
be deducted 27, the number of deaths of non-residents in the
District "which occurred in the East London Hospital for Children;
and to the remainder (1,314) must be added 204, the
number of deaths of residents in the District which occurred in
Institutions outside it; we therefore obtain a total of 1,518 deaths
as representing the total mortality in the Limehouse District during
the year.
