SANITARY WORK.
Many hundred houses have been inspected during the year,
and for a detailed report concerning them, I beg to refer you to
Table VI. in the Appendix.
COW SHEDS AND SLAUGHTER HOUSES.
These structures were inspected by me prior to the licensing
day, and the defects discovered therein reported to your Board.
These defects having been remedied, the licenses were renewed by
the Justices.
ADULTERATION OF FOOD ACT.
A large number of articles of food have been examined at the
Laboratory, and certificates given in accordance with the result of
