for the Lewisham District, do hereby certify that we have
carefully examined the accounts of the said Board for the
year ending the 25th day of March, 1892, and the Books
and Vouchers and other documents relating thereto, and that
we have this day completed the Audit of the said Accounts,
which wo commenced on the 24th May instant.
Objections were taken to certain items in the said
Accounts, and we have considered such objections, and have
disallowed certain of the items in the said Accounts, amounting
together to £230 16s. 4d., and we have allowed other
items which were objected to, and we have stated our reasons
for such disallowances and allowances in the Board's Cash
Book, and we declare that, with the exception of the items
thus disallowed, the said Accounts for the year ending 25th
March, 1892, are true and correct, and we do allow the same
except as aforesaid, under section 195 of the Metropolis
Local Management Act, 1855, and we have signed the several
accounts and statements in token of such allowance and disallowance
thereof. We have caused an Account in Abstract
to be prepared showing the Receipt and Expenditure of the
Board for the year referred to, under the several distinct
heads of Receipt and Expenditure, and the same is attached
to this the Statement of our allowance or disallowance, and
we have also caused to be prepared a Summary Statement of
all Contracts entered into by the Board during the year, and
of the moneys owing to, and debts and liabilities owing by,
the Board on the 25th day of March, 1892.
