Hamlet of Penge.
The difficulty of obtaining shoots for the Dust was also experienced
in the Hamlet of Penge, and for some of the Dust a
free shoot could not be found.
The horses, carts and harness were supplied by Mr. It. Winnifrith,
at os. per day each,—the men and boys being in the employment
of the Board. The dust was disposed of as follows:—

NEW WORKS.
Kerb, Channel, Crossings, &c.
Parish of Lewisham.
No new works were carried out during the year owing to the
delay in obtaining the loan from the London County Council.
The following works, which were included in the Estimates for the
year, were commenced since the 25th March, and are partially
completed.
