It is proposed to construct twelve flushing tanks in Lewisham
and five in Penge, and twelve manholes in Lewisham and five in
Penge during the current year, and provision has been made for
the same in the Estimates.
The total number of automatic flushing tanks constructed up
to Lady-day, is as follows :—

From the foregoing it will be seen that twelve flushing
tanks and 23 manholes, &c., were added during the year to those
already constructed in the older sewers; and I hope to see this
