*In addition to this quantity of broken granite, 1002 tons of granite in
spalls wore paid for. This would make an addition of about 871 yards.
The Rainfall, as recorded by the rain-guage in the Stoneyard
at Forest Hill, from the 2Gth March, 188G, to the 25th March,
1887, inclusive, was as follows:—
