Rain fell on 100 days, the total amount of rainfall being
24 inches, 6inchcs more than in the previous year, but 1.28
inches less than the average.
Water Supply.
The water supplied to this District by tho various Companies
continues to be of good quality, that of the Kent
Company being remarkably clear and free from impurity.
It is important for consumers to see that their cisterns are
properly covered and periodically cleansed; also that they
have no direct communication with the drain by means of
the waste pipe.
