The supply of water in the Kent Company's District was
good during the season, but the supply in the Lambeth Company's
District was deficient, and interfered with the work being
as efficiently done as it would have been had the supply been better.
I believe the Company's officers did their best to meet our
demands.
The Greenwich Boundary Roads were watered by us under
an agreement with the Greenwich Board of Works, and also the
road of Sydenham Hill according to agreement with the Camberwell
Vestry. The Lambeth Company reduced the price £5 per
mile for some of the Roads, making a total saving of £87 10s.
