The most important Improvements carried out during the
year were Lowering the Footpath, Montpelier Vale, Blackheath,
and Widening the Roadway at the Canal Bridge, Ancrley ltoad,
Peno-e. I have no doubt both these Improvements arc duly
appreciated by the public. The Widening of the Roadway of
Stanstead Lane, along Mr. Bird's Estate, was also commenced.
