On account of the delay in obtaining kerbing and channelling,
the footpath from Kent House Lane to the Sydenham Railway
Station, South side, and the footpath from the "Bell" to the Sydenham
Railway Station, was not completed until after the 25th
March. The price paid to the Limmer Asphalte Company was
5s. 2d. per superficial yard. The work was substantially done, and
at present has every appearance of lasting.
