LIGHTING.
The number of Lamps lighted and maintained at the expenses
of the Vestry on the 25th March, 1893, was 4,251, and the total
cost for the year of lighting, cleaning and maintaining, including
new columns and lanterns, removals, and sundry expenses

During the year 47 ordinary Lamps have been added, and 6
ordinary Lamps fitted with extra power burners, and 2 Obelisk
Lamps have been fixed, one at the foot of Lambeth Bridge and
the other at the junction of Kennington Road and Upper Kennington
Lane.
No increase in the price of Gas has been made to the Vestry
during the year.
