SCARLET FEVER.
During the year 57 deaths are reported as having occurred from
Scarlet Fever. To this cause during the preceding year, 73
deaths were attributed. 1126 cases of attack, however, were
reported to the Sanitary department. 540 cases remained under
treatment at home, and 586 cases were removed to the hospitals
of the Asylums Board.
