Of the above eight Auditors elected by the Ratepayers, the following
five gentlemen were elected by the Vestry on 22nd May, 1890 (pursuant to
the nth Section of the Metropolis Local Management Act) to be Auditors
of Accounts for the year ensuing, viz.: Messrs. Jephson, Jennings, Stubbs,
Stevens, and Shemeld.
