SCARLET FEVER.
During the year 73 deaths arc reported as having occurred from
Scarlet Fever. To this cause, during the preceding year, 82
deaths were attributed. 879 cases of attack, however, were
reported to the Sanitary department. 346 cases remained under
treatment at home, and 533 cases were removed to the hospitals
of the Asylums Board.
