Of the above eight Auditors elected by the Ratepayers, the
following five gentlemen were elected by the Vestry on 6th June,
1889, (pursuant to the 11th Section of the Metropolis Local
Management Act) to be Auditors of Accounts for the year ensuing,
viz.: Messrs. Stevens, Stubbs, Shemeld, Jephson, and Wybrow.
