On comparing the estimated population of each district with
that of 18S2, an increase is noted in all with the exception of
Waterloo Road 1st and Lambeth Church Tst. In the former of
these districts the population has decreased by 190 persons, and
in the latter by 306 persons. This latter decrease is in all
probability due to the demolition of the houses in the area
within this district known as the Jurston Street area.
1 lie enumerated population of the metropolis is in a ratio ot
15.°9 to 1 compared with the estimated population of Lambeth.
