Twenty-Eighth Annual Report
of the
MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH,
Being a Ktpot t for the year 1883 on the Vital and Sanitary
Statistics of the Parish of Lambeth.
Gentlemen,
The estimated population of Lambeth, calculated for
the middle of the year to which this Report refers, is 262,139,
showing an increase of 4091 upon the estimated population of
the previous year.
These figures are based upon the number of inhabited houses
registered in the Rate Books of the Parish. The percentage ot
inmates of houses in the various districts remaining fairly
constant.
