In this Report the epidemic of the present year is of most
interest, the disease first showed itself at the end of February at
Hull, other places in Yorkshire soon following, Sheffield, Leeds,
and Bradford : in the commencement of May it was reported in
London first in the North of the Metropolis, but at the same
period we had numerous cases in our district, and so rapidly did
