resolved—That the Report except Clause 3 be adopted, and
it was resolved accordingly.
appointment of sanitary committee
as Committee under Public Health (London) Act, 1891.
Moved by Mr. T. J. Smith seconded by Mr. Birks and
resolved—That that part of the Report be adopted, and it was
resolved accordingly.
VII. tramways.
In reply to inquiries the Surveyor and Assistant Clerk gave
particulars of notice served, and works done or promised to
be done by the Company.
VIII. The Assistant Clerk submitted notices (in addition to
those referred to in the No. 3 Committee's Report) from the
Medical Officer of Health, complaining of nuisances caused by
stopped drains existing at Nos. 24, 26 and 28 Alderney Road.
Moved by Mr. T. J. Smith seconded by Mr. Livermore and
resolved—That the requisite notices to abate the nuisances
complained of, within 48 hours be served upon the owners of
such premises; and that the Chairman sign the necessary orders
empowering the Inspector to make complaints and take proceedings
before the "Magistrate, in case of default in complying
with'the notices.
IX. The Report of the Committee lor Dusting and Cleansing
was brought up as follows:

Wednesday, 2nd March, 1892.
Your Committee beg to report that they met on Wednesday,
the 24th day of February, ult., there being present Messrs.
Upton, Martin, Taylor, Cook, Howe, E. Lloyd, and Porcas.
