[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Hamlet of Mile End Old Town]

160 8 OCTOBER, 1890.
II. The Clerk submitted Estimate of Poor Rate, made by the
Churchwardens and Overseers, for the quarter ending
Christmas-Day next.
Moved by Mr. Hirst seconded by Mr. Lacey and resolved—
That a rate of 9d. in the £ be approved.
III. The Clerk stated that the advertisement inviting tenders
for supply of 10,000 feet of 3 inch tooled York Paving had
been inserted in the " Builder," but in consequence of some
delay had not arrived in time to be inserted in the " Contract
Journal," according to the resolution of the Vestry, but had
been inserted in the " Contractor " instead.
Moved by Mr. Richardson seconded by Mr. Hirst, and
resolved—That fresh advertisements be inserted inviting tenders,
to be submitted to the next meeting.
IV. The Report of Committee No. 1 was brought up as follow .
