(7) That Mr. Cox, your Inspector under the Adulteration
of Food, &c., Acts, submitted 10 certificates of your Analyst,
one of which certified that a sample of milk contained 15 per
cent. of added water, and another certifying the adulteration
of a sample of pepper with 10 per cent. of foreign starch, and
your Committee resolved to recommend—That proceedings
be taken against the person who sold to the Inspector the
adulterated milk, and that the person who sold the adulterated
pepper be cautioned.
