[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Hamlet of Mile End Old Town]

5 MARCH, 1890.
(equally with the suppression of gaming houses, dealt with by
42 Geo. III cap 119) a duty which should devolve upon the
Authority having the control of the Police.
(3) That a copy of the resolutions be forwarded to the several
rating authorities in the Metropolis, with a request that they
should apply to H. M. Government to introduce a Bill to carry
the same into effect, and to ask the Parliamentary representatives
of their districts to support such Bill.
(4) That the Home Secretary be requested to receive a
Deputation in furtherance of the object of the said resolutions,
and that each of the said rating authorities be requested to
appoint one of their members to take part in such Deputation.

Moved by Mr. Coker seconded by Mr. R. Kemp and
resolved—That the Report be received, approved, and adopted,
and it was resolved accordingly.
XI. The Surveyor submitted Estimate of the cost of paving, etc.,
of Edgar Place and Dinah Row, at the cost of the owners of
property therein, as follows:
Vestry Hall, Mile End, E.
5th March, 1890.
To the Vestry of the Hamlet of Mile End Old Town.
Gentlemen,
I hereby certify that I estimate the cost of
paving and making up Edgar Place and Dinah Row, in
the manner described in your resolution of 5th February,
ult., at the sum of £75 8s.

Moved by Mr. R. Kemp seconded by Mr. Henley and
resolved—That the Estimate submitted be received and
approved.

of Georgiana Place at the cost of the owners of property
