[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Hamlet of Mile End Old Town]

whole Board and that such meeting take place this day fortnight
at 6 p.m.
XX. The Clerk submitted letter from the Vestry Clerk of the
30th, ult., enclosing copy of resignation of Mr. George
Reynolds as a Vestryman.
Moved by Mr. Upton, seconded by Mr. R. Kemp and resolved—That
it be received.
XXI. The Clerk read a letter of the 10th, inst., from the
Limehouse Board of Works on the subject of "Thames Communications
(Blackwall Tunnel)" and requesting this Vestry to
join in a deputation to the County Council upon the subject.
Moved by Mr. Richardson, seconded, and resolved—
That the Limehouse Board be informed that this Vestry would
join a Deputation for the purposes mentioned.
XXII. Mr. Coker drew attention to the services rendered by
Mr. Cushen, as the Representative of the Vestry at the Metropolitan
Board of Works, and
Moved and it was seconded by Mr. Peacock and resolved—
That this Vestry hereby expresses its indebtedness and best
thanks to Mr. Henry Cushen for his valuable services as the
Representative of this Vestry at the Metropolitan Board of
Works.
XXIII. Mr. Richardson withdrew the three notices standing
in his name on the Agenda in consequence of the fresh notice
of motion which he had given.
XXIIIA. Mr. Furness withdrew the notice of motion standing
in his name on the Agenda.
XXIIIB. The notice of motion standing in the name of Mr.
Brown being called on by the Chairman, and Mr. Brown not
being present the motion dropped.
XXIIIC. Mr. Peacock pursuant to his notice moved and it was
seconded by Mr. Peacock and resolved unanimously—That
the instructions of the Vestry to the Finance Committee to
show on the Estimates the estimated items for the corresponding
Half-year on the 19th October, 1887, be rescinded.
XXIIID. Mr. Peacock then pursuant to notice moved and it
was seconded by Mr. R. Kemp and resolved—That your Clerk
be instructed to place in future Estimates opposite each item
of estimated receipts and expenditure the actual amount received
and expended in respect of such item during and for
the corresponding half-year.
Moved by Mr. Upton, seconded by Mr. Richardson and resolved—That
the Vestry do now adjourn, and that thanks be
voted to the Chairman.

(4) That your Surveyor reported on the negociations which had taken place with regard to the following tenants' claims and your Committee having considered the same and the reports of the Accountants resolved to seal offers of the following amounts.
