IX. Mr. Richardson drew attention to the non-removal of dust
in Whitehead Street, and it was resolved—That the matter
be referred to the Dusting and Cleansing Committee.
X. Moved by Mr. Peacock seconded by Mr. Henley and resolved
—That it be referred to the No. 3 Committee to consider the
advisability that for the future Mr. Charles Cox shall be
designated Inspector of Nuisances instead of Sub-Inspector as
heretofore.
XI. The Clerk submitted a notice from Mr. Cox the
Inspector of Nuisances, complaining of a nuisance injurious to
health at No. 8, Eagle Place.
Moved by Mr. Upton and seconded by Mr. Coker—That
the Chairman sign the necessary order to the Inspector, to
take proceedings in case of default before the magistrate to
abate the nuisance.
Moved by Mr. Richardson and seconded as an amendment
—That it be referred to No. 3 Committee for consideration
and report.
The Chairman submitted the amendment to a show of
hands and there appeared

The Chairman declared the amendment carried, and then
submitted it as a substantive motion and declared it carried.
XII. Mr. Richardson drew attention to the sanitary state of
Eagle Place, and it was resolved—That the matter be referred
to No. 3 Committee for consideration and report.
