During the year many inspections have been made
of premises where offensive works were carried on, and
the necessary orders given for the abatement of the
nuisances.
In all cases coming to my knowledge, I have removed
and properly disinfected (with the consent of the
owners) all bedding and clothing used by persons
suffering from infectious diseases.
In addition to the above, all bakehouses have been
visited twice during the year, and, where necessary,
notices were served requiring the respective owners to
limcwhite and otherwise cleanse the same.
The whole of the slaughter and cow houses in the
Hamlet have likewise been frequently visited and many
improvements effected.
Your obedient servant,
HENRY LESIIAW,
Sanitary Inspector.
