From the table showing the principal causes of
death it will be seen that one out of every eight deaths
in the borough in 1931 was due to Cancer.
The Prevention of Cancer.
An important circular (Circular No. 1186) containing
a memorandum on Cancer of the lip, tongue
and skin was published by the Ministry of Health in
1931 and may be obtained at a cost of 3d. from H.M.
Stationery Office, Adastral House, Kingsway, W.C. 1.
