I wish to pay a farewell tribute to the Voluntary
Committee of the Maternity and Child Welfare Centres
for their great work, which conferred lasting benefit on
many of the younger generation of the district.
I desire to record my thanks to the members of the
staff for their valuable services during the year and to my
colleagues in other departments for their cordial cooperation.
I am pleased to acknowledge with grateful thanks
the valuable help of the Chairmen and Members of the
Public Health and Maternity and Child Welfare Committees
and of the various voluntary societies who have
done so much to promote and assist public health work
in Fulham.
I have the honour to be,
Mr. Mayor Ladies and Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
JOHN SULLIVAN,
Medical Officer of Health.
