Sanitary Legislation.
The London County Council (General Powers) Act 1904
which came into operation in August, 1904, gives the following
additional powers to the Sanitary Authority.
(1.) To cause filthy, dangerous, or unwholesome articles to be
cleansed or purified.
(2.) To have any house or part of a house infested with vermin
cleansed.
(3.) To provide means for the cleansing, purifying or destruction
of filthy, dangerous, or unwholesome articles, and
for the cleansing of houses infested with vermir.
