The deaths in each quarter of the year were:—

During the first three weeks of August no less than 116
deaths were registered from Diarrhoea or Enteritis, representing
for this period an annual death-rate per 1,000 of 13.0.
The diarrhœal mortality in Fulham compared, as is always
the case, unfavourably with that of other Metropolitan Boroughs,
only three boroughs, viz., Shoreditch, Poplar and Bermondsey,
having higher rates.
The excessive diarrhœal mortality of Fulham, as compared
with the adjoining boroughs, will be seen from the following
table:—
