General Sanitary Work.
1,170 complaints were received and attended to, and 2,809
intimation notices, and 1,065 statutory notices were served in
respect of nuisances discovered in the course of house to house
inspection, and the inspection of houses consequent upon complaints
or the existence of infectious disease.
In conclusion, I have to thank all the members of the staff
of the Public Health Department for the faithful and willing
assistance they have at all times rendered me.
