Infant Welfare Centres.
The infant welfare work in Camberwell is undertaken by
three Municipal Centres and seven voluntary institutions.
It is satisfactory to record that increased use was made of the
Centres during last year, the attendances being considerably over
4,000 in excess of the 1928 figures. The number of home visits
also show an increase.
During the year three voluntary centres followed the example
of the Bird-in-Bush Centre by establishing special "toddlers'"
clinics, and a return of these activities, together with tables of
work carried out at all the centres in the Borough, appear in
the following pages.
