The premises were frequently inspected, and it is satisfactory
to record that at each visit of inspection there were no contraventions
of the provisions of the Milk and Dairies Order, 1926,
observed in connection with the conduct of the business.
The milk obtained from this source is not supplied to the
wholesale trade, but is retailed to families living in the immediate
neighbourhood.

was examined for the presence of tubercle, and the report is
set out below:—

Examination of Designated Milk.
Samples of Certified Milk are obtained for examination at
the request of the Minister of Health. For some years past the
Ministry has requested that samples of certified milk supplied to
dealers in this area by a certain licensed producer be obtained for
bacteriological examination.
During the year under review the producer in question was
not licensed for the production of Certified Milk, but only for the
production and sale of Oracle "A" (Tuberculin Tested) Milk.
At the direction of the Ministry samples of this grade of milk
bottled at the farm by this producer for licensed dealers in this
Borough were obtained to ascertain whether the milk complied
with the standards laid down in the Order. The results of these
samples are shown in the following table.
